The beginning of newCOMer

In 1998 Carl Spitzenberger began to set up an online portal for newcomer bands. Soon it turned out that there was a much higher demand in the field of software development for the internet.

Therefore the founder, computer scientist Carl Spitzenberger, began to develop software-based webpages with database connection. These were the first internet portals developed by newCOMer.

The name newCOMer stands for the philosophy of a software forge: using the latest technologies for the development of innovative software for the internet and Windows.

newCOMer is one of the most innovative developers of internet software systems. The product range reaches from the Internet Content Management System over wage tax calculations for Windows, palm and internet to highly complex software solutions for controlling enterprises by business-management software.

Meanwhile newCOMer has grown into a team of computer scientists, media designers and experts in different fields such as business management, web page development and database.

The consistently modular structure of newCOMer-developed software enables us to offer nearly any combination of our components, e.g. Content Management Systems, Online Shopping Systems and Online Booking Systems.

newCOMer is also active abroad. In 2006, "newCOMer Software LLC" was founded in Dixon, a suburb of Nashville, Tennessee. Now the circle has become complete as it has moved back to music – although in Nashville, newCOMer is not active in the field of music but in the field of software and ERP systems. Nevertheless the founder Carl Spitzenberger – who is also a drummer! - is very proud of having fulfilled his dream to have a business plant in the music city Nashville.
